Working as the Video Director and Editor for ARTJOG - Motif: Lamaran (2023) was an incredible experience that allowed me to contribute to one of Indonesia's most prestigious contemporary art festivals. ARTJOG is renowned for its dynamic platform that showcases the works of emerging and established artists, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and creativity. The 2023 edition, themed "Motif: Lamaran," explored themes of proposals and the various forms they take in artistic expression.
In my role, I was responsible for capturing the essence of the event and bringing the artists' visions to life through compelling video content. This involved not only technical expertise in filming and editing but also a deep understanding of the thematic underpinnings of the festival. The challenge was to create videos that not only documented the artworks but also conveyed the emotions and narratives behind them, ensuring that the audience could fully engage with the unique and diverse artistic expressions on display.
