This year (2024), ARTJOG themed Motif: Ramalan (prophecy). This motif invites us to look forward, exploring the concept of prophecy and envisioning future possibilities through the unique expressions of contemporary artists. The seers of the future do not just predict in the tunnel of time, but also deal with the changing perception of time. Time is no longer the history of the future that must be predicted, because all events that give meaning are now under timeless progress, do not have a final destination. The perception of time is of course greatly influenced by the very rapid changes in various areas of life today.
